How we recycle metals at Umicore
Metals are perfect for recycling due to their permanent characteristics. Umicore recovers up to 28 different metals through two types of recycling operations.

Umicore is the official ABB FIA Formula E Championship supplier for the recycling of the lithium-ion battery units and cells used during the racing series.

We started a technology development programme with Mahindra Racing to help them win the FIA Formula E Championship, by sharing our technological expertise.
